Yeah, I had like $800 left. The blinds were 200/400 and i was big blind so I only had $400 left and I hit pocket A's didn't really have a choice. Everyone on the table called me and I hit an ace on the flop and ended up winning with trip A's
Nice! I really want to get back into poker but decided to close my WSOP account because I'm in my final year at Uni
I was actually in a really good position early on. Had just over $5,000 and had the 14th highest chip stack out of the remaining 422 people. Had Ace/K hearts and the flop was like this: 4hearts, Ace spades, 7 hearts Some guy goes all in with $3,200 and i'm thinking "well i've probably got highest pair with a king kicker. Also got the chance for a flush." I call it and he has King spades/Queen clubs. I think "Beautiful, should have ths" The turn comes up: 4hearts, Ace spades, 7 hearts, 10 diamonds Then the river: 4hearts, Ace spades, 7 hearts, 10 diamonds, Jack clubs. Cunt jagged a straight on the turn & river. Demolished my stack and I never recovered. Went straight into defensive mode
Never really liked Pokerstars, from what I remember (about 3 years ago) the structure of the website was pretty dire so didn't join for long To be honest, I joined the ones with the best offers etc Titan poker was one that gave me a great welcome bonus a few years back and was a decent poker site
Should do the old Ryan/Colesy/Snake trick. All of us play a decent free roll and team up. Play normally and if we are lucky enough to have more than 1 of us on the same table we use MSN to tell each other what we have. Try to pad 1 persons account: "eg; I'm doing badly, not getting anything. Me & Colesy are the only 2 left in the hand and he tells me he has triple 10's and we're the only 2 left. I have nothing but go all in and colesy calls thus gaining a shit load of cash. When he gets in the money he splits the cash with the rest of us"
I joined Pokerstars ages ago, don't like it at all. Had so many bad beats it was ridiculous. 888Poker is alright since I joined, pretty good offers from what I see. Only joined it because of this thread
Righto. My MSN is msn email is ripply90@hotmail.com I should probably check if I even have MSN still, haven't used it since like 2009.
Must have joined a good handful of poker sites over the past few years... probably one of the main reasons I didn't do well at A Levels Use to only go to 6th form to pay cash poker with my mates on free lessons and lunch breaks One stage, I turned $50 into $1000 by playing high stakes, went on tilt and got down to $500 before withdrawing it.
What level is your 88Poker account at Gazza? Mine is Iron and there's a $100 Iron Free Roll in just over an hour.
I don't think there's any available for a while in that case. There was the $75 Free Roll this morning which I came 80th in, I know that one is available to everyone. Don't know how many times a day they do it though.
