Well, Emm, Mannah wasn't exactly Lazarus when he played for NSW either. And it's been quite a while since he's been around the rep scene. I get where you're coming from but Tamou is the rightful incumbent and he didn't play at all badly for Australia at last year's World Cup.
I don't think we can afford to overlook him when we basically have only one prop (Scott) who is proven at all levels (aside from Shillington and he obviously isn't in the picture.) If he was producing the same sort of crap for the Cowboys then yeah I'd probably agree but as I say, he's actually been strong for them. He was great in his comeback game last week. Made 36 tackles in 39 minutes and averaged nearly 10m per run. That's not lazy play from the big man.
I'm not sure Sheens was actually suggesting that playing Bird, Thaiday and Watmough is part of his "bigger bodies" plan. I think he was just musing options and ended up joining two thoughts together in a way that sounds really stupid.
