Apparently Coote won't make it in... Which is good and bad, as Purtell would have been pushed out, but at the same time Coote hasn't played for like 6 or 7 weeks.

    Think Roosters will win.

    Can't see Penrith winning tbh.

With Pritchard and Waterhouse out the return of Civ doesn't make the team any better than it was last week. And the full strength pack is the only thing (although it's debatable) that Penrith have over them, I'm including Kingston there, obv.

That 100 minute match last week could have taken a bit out of the Woosters.

  4. Hunter AD Hunt

Yeah I'm thinking the Roosters will start off very very slow or they'll come out firing. Depending whether they're still riding the high or whether the 100 minutes has taken it's toll.

That is what I was thinking and hoping. Could be a pretty good game, really hope we don't rely on the bomb once again though!

I wouldn't be surprised if the Panthers win. Civoniceva is a massive boost - Pritchard and Waterhouse are inconsistent, often shit ****s anyway. And you've gotta think the emotion and fatigue of last weeks match against the Tigers will effect the Chooks.

I think Leilua will be coming in for Jaubs tonight and Friend will be playing 80 minutes at hooker, which if he can physically do is great news.

    Extraordinarily nervous about tonight.

    Gunning for a Penrith win.

Up the Panthers.... late mail I have heard so far will be interesting to see how accurate it is. First of all I am hearing that Wade Graham will be IN for Masada Iosefa (I don't know how that will work). I have also heard these two possibilities, Coote to return Earl to keep his spot on the wing and Purtell dropped OR Coote to return Earl to keep his spot and Purtell to the second row. Obviously if Coote doesn't return, the side will remain the same.

From what I can gather though if Coote does play Purtell will be dropped.

Purtell in the backrow? How the **** does Elliot keep a ****ing job.. Stupidest person I know of, I'd rather Azzal running my team.

  17. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

I think that's a bit harsh. Yeah it's a dumb decision but it hardly makes him worthy of sacking or comparison to Azzal.

He's put the worse defender in the team, another two spots in field where we need to be strong in defence... Roosters by 30.

  19. Flack SA Flack

Johns knows his shit too "Purtell is a strong defender..." lol.

  20. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

It's no worse than having him defend at centre IMO.
