    Probs. One downside to a shorter season is now a bit obvious.. that being there's a far less chance of seeing the top sides tested against each other until the finals. It will work against Penrith, they need a game against the Storm or Roosters to know how good they really are and what they might need to improve on.

    McGuire you fucking muppet. lol Don't cuss the ref especially when we had the fucking ball. Melbourne scored twice after that sin binning which I'd argue could easily have been a send off. Reminds me of Luke O'Donnell. Good player but has that niggly grubby shit in his game that often costs the team dearly.

    I've really enjoyed the 20 game season without having origin crammed in the middle. Has felt like enough football to see who the top sides are. I don't think another 4 rounds would've shown us much more other than maybe the Panthers matched up against a Roosters/Storm in their current state.

    I wouldn't mind seeing a longer finals series although I don't know what that would look like.

    I'm definitely on the Cribbwagon that top 6 is definitely the go.

    apparently all he said was 'fuck me, cunt'. and it's not like he was up in the ref's face when he said it, he was just venting. players do it all the time and occasionally you hear the ref say a warning to them not to speak like that, not sin bin them. it's not tennis, it's an aggressive game that produces pain and frustration. and you think it should be a send off? fuck me cunt.

    Yeah I think there's a massive difference between referring to someone as "cunt" and saying "you're a cunt", but I can also see that out of touch aspie referees aren't gonna see it that way.

    By the way on the warriors fan message board which allows swearing, I got warned and censured for "excessive use of the word 'cunt' '". A number of the other Kiwis complained about me for excessive use.
    I was enjoying using the word and had discovered it is quite flexible and able to be multi-purposed.

    Haha nah. You've just noticed it more because you've watched your games more closely. Brisbane have been truly, truly dispicable since the resumption. They were on 4 points after Round 2 and they're still only on 6 ffs.
