    Apparently wings will be Addo-Carr/Cotric.

Can't say I'm a fan of picking Morris at center, though the other options aren't perfect.

It'll be interesting to see how Haas goes. He's been insanely good this year, shoo in for Rookie of the Year... I wonder if he'll be able to convert that straight to Origin?

Starting 13 is fine, bench is pretty bad though.

What in god's name is Josh Morris being named for?

Some real dud selections but I don't think all will necessarily have a negative effect we have just negated what could've been an advantage.

Morris - just wont offer anything but I don't see Morgan exposing him either. Could have really capitalised on Morgan's selection by going with someone like Ramien and really test his defence at centre.

1 prop on the bench - Should have picked another prop. but the trade off should mean Klemmer and Vaughan will be forced to play 60 minutes.

Wighton- Just bizarre selection, don't see how he will come into the game if he does at all. With Qld picking a really immobile pack it was a good opportunity for us to take advantage of with a genuine dummy half to give Cook a rest and keep his legs fresh.

Cleary & Crichton - just flat out dud selections. Picking a mobile bench could have been a huge advantage and I think Cam Murray is a great selection but Crichton is just a waste of space he's a second rower with limited mobility.

    Qld team rumoured to be:

    1 - Ponga
    2 - Oates
    3 - Chambers
    4 - Morgan
    5 - Gagai
    6 - Munster
    7 - Cherry-Evans
    8 - Arrow
    9 - Hunt
    10 - Papalii
    11 - Kaufusi
    12 - Gillett
    13 - McGuire

    14 - MBye/Milford
    15 - Wallace
    16 - Napa
    17 - Ofahengue

Some very dud selections thrown in there as well.

  8. AVA T Delonge

Yeah I think that sums it up really well.

I'd back Morgan to expose Josh Morris at some point in Game 1. He laid on two tries through Hayne in the space of 20 playing minutes.

Nah there's no way that will be the bench imo. Fifita will be picked. He's the only genuine edge option out of Wallace, Napa, Ofahengue and Glasby.

Don't even get me started on Mbye and Milford though. Fmd. With Hunt in the side, what do you need either of them for? They cover half and fullback. Mbye isn't even the best fullback at his own club ffs.

Gotta say I do find it funny that our best prop is a former Test second rower. I've always been against his move into the middle but clearly he's resigned to being a fat cunt and Stuart likes it that way. Either way Papalii has been superb for Canberra this year. His and Arrrow's offloading might be another sorely needed dimension to our attack.

Was reported by Ben Dobson who is close to Walters? But yeah nfi what the chances of that team being the correct one actually are

  13. Lukic L Popovic

Mbye can play the 9 at a pinch.

He's been poor this year though lol. I'd understand it if it was last year when he was actually going well, but this is super random...

  14. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Well maybe he's right. Dumb cunts...

  15. AVA T Delonge

Haha, so apparently Wallace has been axed and Fifita is going to be picked.

  16. Alec AD Funkotron

Wallace was so bad last year, you'd think he was a double agent. Fifita hasn't exactly been particularly good this year either though. Definitely a pick based on potential.

Both teams would lose to any other origin team of the past. We may be witnessing the transition phase of internationals becoming the highest form of competition. We are a ponga switch to nz away from that becoming a reality.

  18. Wilson SB Wilson

Eyyyyy, up the Thommo. Should be there full time. Been saying it for years

  19. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

QLD side is the best they could pick; less Mbye. Maybe Granville on the pine.

  20. Magic AJ Parker

Yeh without thinking about it too much I can't imagine a world team would have more than 50% origin eligible players. Can't think of another time when you'd be able to say that.
