I could definitely see the Panthers pack rolling Brisbane in a similar fashion to what we did. Thaiday and Blair are the worst starting front row pairing in the comp. I think it was Ennis? who was slamming them on Fox last week and he was spot on in everything he said.
The more I look at this the better I think Penrith match up against the Broncs. Got the pigs+wingers to get over the advantage line and bash Thaiday and Blair, Cleary's kicking to turn them around on the back of that. Then between Harawira running lines, Whare being the worlds best centre, Peachey being a lunatic and Cartwright in '09 Hayne like form on the fringe they should be able to show Moga and Roberts up for the reserve graders they are. Added to that the Broncs could be a bit disjointed with no Darius and I think Panthers are a real chance.
I'd be all over Penrith if Moylan was playing. May has completely stunted their left side attack the past two weeks though - if you rush him he just puts on the left foot step, 100% of the time. He's going to need Cartwright to save him, and relying on Cartwright is a fool's errand. Still overs at 2.90, but that one position makes such a big difference.
why is moylan out? pretty low to leave them when going into the finals. he doesn't seem like the type to do something like that.

Panthers killing Broncos around the ruck in yardage and then as soon as they get into good ball they start playing to their edges for some unknown reason. Sutton has been shit. Ruck is woeful and he's been inconsistent in his rulings and then there was the Panthers should have been try. Ref bashing will no doubt continue after this performance... fuck knows who's left to pick in the Grand Final
Broncs D was great. Panthers attack was bizarre. Totally played away from where they should've been going. Cartwright's chip was hilarious.
