    Without talking myself up, I suppose.

    Quit Cannons U/17's (or 16's, the one before 18's).

    Got invited back for 18's, declined. Next year, got invited again but declined.
    Couple of months ago (nov, dec I think) got invited to train with Sandringham, but declined.

    Kinda regret those actions now.

    Doesn't mean I would've made it, though.

    If I did make it, it would have been as an outside player though. Have never been an inside mid.

    Yeah, I struggles with drive/motivation when I was 15-16 then a few opportunities presented itself and I found that motivation.

    I never got a look on at the Jets. Too many gun players in my age group such as McKenzie, Huxtable, Conway, Casley, Fairley.

    Not developing until late hurts your chances as well.

    I have a cousin who is sort of on the fringe on the Bushrangers 18s, wasn't selected this year. Still has 3 years of eligibility so hopefully he can get a gig.
