I know Skippos takes a bit of interest in this, but it's very much my passion - watching elite junior football.

I tend to post a phantom and whatnot over at BigFooty but I thought I'd base myself here for now.

I'll be posting semi constant updates - long, in-depth player profiles, little observations, whatever, if it's under 18 related it'll be in here.

Feel free to join in, or ask questions - I'd love to not have to go to BigFooty everytime I want to discuss anything about TAC or the Champs.

10 Names you'll need to get to know:

    Luke MacDonald
    James Aish
    Cam Conlon
    Matt Scharenberg
    Dom Sheed
    Josh Kelly
    James Tsitas
    Matt Crouch
    Luke Dunstan
    Ben Lennon

    :fap:

Didn't watch much TAC last year due to it being difficult to obtain but it's rare I don't spend my weekends at SANFL u/18/reserve/snr games. Genuinely so gun.

Aish is the real deal, I'll say that much.

    No Boyd, Tigga?

  3. Youngman JE Harding

Caleb Argus is the name to watch

  4. Dirk Diggler DM Diggler

    He's average.

  5. Skippos SM Morgan

This is pretty much the first year I haven't known or played with any of the draft crop.

    Feeling old

  6. Dirk Diggler DM Diggler

He gets a leg up because his brother is Trent.

    Seen him play juniors.

    This seems like good stuff.

First year where all the guys playing are younger than me. Not sure how to take this.

    Fuck i love TAC footy.

  9. Jager LO Townsend

    AWTA but so is Franklin.

True, never seen him play footy tbh but know first hand he is a total knob.

Will be at Craigieburn for the double header on Saturday, if that helps.

Saw him 4/5 times last year. Impressive little nut he is. Loves the contested ball, pace isn't a real issue, gets it and goes. Lays tackles that stick and hurt blokes. He's one of those blokes I love, but he's not short, he's a midget.

At that height he's got an undraftable build and it's not like he's that much of an x-factor athletic talent.

I assumed I put him in as my first name. Woops. Maybe I wanted him to sneak under the radar :ninja:

Didn't standout for me. I didn't have him in my top 150.

Any Pios going to get close to being drafted?

It's a bit hard to say at this stage, but there's three who you'd have to think are chances:

Isaiah Miller. He's with the AIS currently.
Jacob Chisari. Short little rover with elite agility and a-grade competitiveness, but I don't know if either his kicking or his speed is elite enough to go before the rookie draft.
Jordan Mangan. 194 cm basketball convert. Draft doesn't have many big kids, let alone big kids who can run 3 secondish 20 metres. Athleticism excellent. Still learning the game. Needs to play lots in key positions this year and settle into a position.

  17. Youngman JE Harding

Might have to watch these 3, I forgot about Isaiah, he had a good year last year didnt he?
Do you do any of the work at Bendigo senior?

Saiah did have a good year, yeah. Nice height for a rebounding defender, can really affect a contest as third man up and is more than competent one on one. Nice skills and dash, but sometimes lacks poise.

Got compared to Grant Birchall and I don't think that's too far off, but Saiah would be looking to really impact when he gets a run in the guts this year, to avoid being labelled a one-trick-pony.

Nah - I'm based in Melbourne but travel down on weekends. Get a bit of feedback from Dave, but that's about it.

  19. Youngman JE Harding

Is Dave that personal trainer dude, he did some work at flat last year before ditching

  20. MightyPies DA Alessi

Oh lord. I'm better than them. They are over rated. Honestly.
