And is Mullen really up to origin at the moment? The cuntt hasn't had a single try assist or line break assist for one line break of his own since returning abd that's been against the might of Penrith, Canberra, Dogs and the broncs.

At Nrl level, if he was partnered with someone decent he would be a decent option. so far off origin level because of his lack of mobility now though IMO.

The Mullen/Farah/Hayne thinking is based on if Pearce had those 3 around him one would assume a lot of the pressure that'd be on his game would be relieved to an extent, increasing the chances of him actually pulling his finger out and playing like he does at club level.

Yeah but they'd still all have to play well IMO. You really shouldn't need to say that about a half with that many Origins under his belt.

QLD is down to 1.45. I have never seen it anywhere near that low before. At this rate I won't even get a 10 point start.

I must be the only one that thinks he does fuck all at club level. A few telegraphed runs, a couple of errors, a penalty fuck all creativity and a few elementary kicks.

    Good organiser
    Top class selective passing game
    Good support player
    Solid kicker
    Excellent defender

Outside of that, yeh fuck all.

yeah I don't really agree with those.

    You're not the only one.

His ability to pick up edge runners is the best in the game imo. The only person who rivals him is Thurston and I think he's dropped off a little in this category (Cribb & Cooper to disagree). Rare to see him chose the wrong pass, he plays percentages very well & his delivery is excellent left to right & right to left. I should mention I rate a player like Josh McCrone very highly in this category so I accept my criteria on this may be different to the norm.

As for his defence I don't really expect anyone to agree because I'm speaking on experiences taken from watching Roosters games over and over & live at the ground. He reads the play so well, I don't reckon a game goes by where Pearce doesn't make a cover tackle. He reads linebreaks in the middle of the field before they even happen. His defence in the line has always been overrated because it's above the average half and he actually has a dig but overall I still think he's an excellent defender.

I'm with you as far as his selective passing game goes. He is very good at finding the bloke running a legit line; at club level at least. It hasn't been able to translate to Origin level because edge defence in SOO is a much higher quality than a week-in/week-out NRL club side.

As for his defence; I personally wouldn't rate him in the top 10 halves.

I've driven to your house before, and remember how to get there, so yes.

He's an average player in general, and I can barely even understand why he's in the NRL half the time.

Top two are down to the coach IMO, he's a puppet. Support play abd kicking are basic expectations of any NRL half, Daniel Mortimer has those skills and the excellent defence I just flat out disagree with.

Gallen on the footy show last week was pretty adamant that he wanted Hayne at fullback (he also mentioned Dugan on the wing). Hopefully he holds some weighting in Daley's decision making.

Hayne was in his element for Parra on Monday night. That and the fact that Dragons are in a bit of a slump will hopefully assist you guys getting your wish of Hayne at the back.

Apparently Gould said something about it over the weekend too. A good call imo

Say what now? 3 different coaches get all the credit for his play but he gets none? That's some Perry logic right there.
