    There's nothing stopping Canberra or any other club for that matter submitting a contract on June 1 signed by Milford and his manager.

    If there were multiple contracts then Milford would be asked which one he'd like to be considered for registration. There might be a clause in there that pertains that if he signs another contract legal action can be taken but June 30 isn't a clause put in there by players, managers or NRL clubs it's a deadline set by the NRL.

    Hoffman was moved from fullback because he just got in the way, if Strasser or Nikorima stand up (or when Kahu is back from injury), and when Hoffman inevitably fails, I'm guessing (and hoping) it'll be a very short lived experiment.

    Besides, Griffin only apparently has until Round 6 to prove himself or something like that.

    There's really not much chance of any of that happening.

    Generally even the most dominant halves really struggle straight from juniors. People will oft use DCE to counter that argument but he had a full year of QCup and none of the blokes you're talking about are even close to being dominant.

    Stand up in QLD Cup that is, since they won't be playing FG while Hoffman is in the halves/fullback.

    They'll likely be average at absolute best in the NRL, but at least they are sort of halves....well, I believe they are actually all fullbacks though...

    We went with the so called "footballer" in Norman and it was pus. I think it's a bit much to criticise Griffin for "homogeneous athletes" when we put Prince and Norman into the spine at second and third receiver.
