Get symonds in there for Stewart ffs. Imagine dce with a second rower who actually gets tackled and runs a line or two.
This. I don't watch many Manly games but from what I saw of Symonds was pretty impressive. Looks like the kid runs hard. He didn't seem to get much game time though? Is it usually like that?
Feeling confident... We have beaten them twice at full strength this year, there side has taken a beating two weeks in a row as well.
I've been saying Manly would win the comp for ages but I'm just not sure they can match it up the middle with Souths whilst Watmough is on one leg and Glenn Stewart is in first grade. I don't want to put the mockers on them but Souths are only one injury (to either half or Luke) from becoming completely impotent. (unless Keary is picked on the bench)
I can't see Manly winning this. Souths may beat themselves but I don't see Manly being able to match Souths in the middle.
Agree with general consensus. Manly have too many injuries + coming off two intense games. Don't think they'll be able to stop the roll on.
So hard to look at the starting side and write them off but yeh I don't think they'll win. Really hoping they do though.
I really see Manly struggling in the back end of this match like they did last week. If they can somehow pull out a victory, I dare say whoever wins between the Roosters and the Knights are looking pretty good for a premiership.
I like how the ref said high shot after Burgess had been lying on the ground for 5 seconds. If you knew it was high then call it straight away ffs.
