Three tries to that man Kaka in the last HB game.

 

Shit. I thought Otago were gonna get over at the end there. They really need to beat the Turbos on Tuesday.

 

The reason they didn't score - or at least one reason they didn't score - is that after they worked it left to right and got stuffed. They started passing it across to the left - and it was on out wide. But a prop got the ball and did what all props do - he stopped passing the ball and rumbled it up 3 steps and took contact.

This is a pet peeve of mine. Forwards should not stand in the backline after a ruck - unless the play is to rumble it up.

Obviously a bigger reason is outstanding defence from HB,

 

The fact that their 4'5" halfback decided to run into a bunch of forwards without decent support didn't help either. But yeah, the Bay were pretty solid for that last 10-15 minutes.

 

Yeah that play caught my eye as well.

Which teams are you cheering for BFP?

I am going for Waikato.

 

Canterbury generally as I was born there but watch and follow Otago pretty closely as well seeing as I live in Dunedin and know a few of the players.

 

Heef and others will have to watch their ps and qs when talking about Cantabs in front of you!

 

I've seen it all before although Heef does seem to be one of the most passionate Canterbury haters I've ever seen - which he'd take as a massive compliment I'm sure.

 

I think you should take it as a compliment anyway - it is just because they always dominate.

Which suburb in Hamilton.

 

I watched bits of it. Everything Cantabs touched turned to gold. And Southland would knock it on whenever they had it. The talent disparity between both teams was not worth 84 points.
