Hardly a moment. I'm not an Arsenal fan. I don't live in London. It's common name is The Emirates and is used in all contexts by everyone. I've never been there.
Pretty impressed with the Toon today. Defoe's goal was awesome and previous Newcastle teams would have caved in after that. That was a great finish from Ameobi as well, especially after coming off the bench about 5 mins earlier. The unbeaten start maintained...bring on Wigan at home next up.
The 21-year-old made his Premier League debut in December last year and became Arsene Wenger's number one in January, after Fabianski suffered a shoulder injury. Szczesny has since been guilty of a couple of high-profile errors, but has done enough to convince many Gunners fans he is the answer to the club's goalkeeping problem. Fabianski, who has hinted he may ask for a transfer in January, believes he should be in the team and claimed Szczesny owed his position to good fortune. 'If it wasn't for my injury, he wouldn't be here today where he is,' the 26-year-old told the Evening Standard. 'I'd still be the number one - I didn't lose my place because I played badly but because of the shoulder mishap. 'The same applies to the Poland national team. I didn't let down the coach, I did well in the games I played.' Fabianski, who has just one Carling Cup appearance to his name this term, played 14 Premier League games last season and showed some signs that his cruel nickname 'Flappyhandski' may have been undeserved. http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/878661...rsenals-first-choice-goalkeeper#ixzz1asBbTAVY Sour grapes?
Happy with a point from that match, if i'm honest i thought Newcastle were hungrier than us and deserved maybe all 3pts. I'm sure Spurs will fire up a bit more next week.
Great result for the Toon yesterday. Really has been a surprise how we've started and its actually enjoyable to watch us play atm.
