It will **** us up if our bowlers don't perform as expected. Will it **** us up if our batsman don't score any runs, Richie?
Yeah, Taylor's not a superstar though. Also, look up the meaning of decline. You'll still carve as you have Wilson.
decliningpresent participle of de·cline (Verb) 1. Become smaller, fewer, or less; decrease: "the birth rate continued to decline". 2. Diminish in strength or quality; deteriorate ****head.
You will never get Morgie to admit to the slightest possibility of any Gamblors decline....he is the Alistair Campbell of the Cricsim PR world.
Nah I can actually speak out against my own side if I don't think they're good enough. I just think that our bowling is excellent. I don't see why people think our bowling will be not good enough to do well, or even make up for our merely decent batting.
I know what declining is, I just doubt Choco's declining. I need a better sample size than just 1 season, or else you'd consider players like Gemmell and Bullpitt as shit ****s.
fwiw, I consider both Bullpitt and Choco as possibly declining, but it's hard to tell from just one season. Sometimes players have bad/below average seasons - name me 1 player who's had a long career that hasn't had a bad season. And I think that's what you ****s are forgetting.
Why the facepalm? My point's very valid that having a below average season does not mean you're declining.
The point is declining doesn't make you shit. If Bradman carried on playing for another 50 Tests and only averaged 77 he'd have declined. He'd still be ****ing incredible though.
I don't think anyone has said they expect your bats to fail completely...declining over a period of time though....very possible.
