In the trials: Hopes: 87 runs @ 21.75 3 wickets @ 45.67 Adams: 115 runs @38.33 9 wickets @ 21.78 Taylor: 7 wickets @ 32.86 SHIT.
I really don't want to do this. Does anyone want Hopes to start in their team. I'm willing to trade him.
Stats after the first 2 rds: Bowling: Sharma: 5 wickets @ 53.4 Adams: 8 wickets @ 28.5 Taylor: 12 wickets @ 21.0 Mendis: 12 wickets @ 26.0 Watson: 2 wickets @ 63.0 I've got nfi why Sharma's bowling like such a ****ing shit ****.
While his career since has gone a bit to shit, he was one of the best bowlers in world cricket back when he was drafted. Obviously you don't agree though.
Batting stats after two rds: Rogers: 55 runs @ 13.75 Paranavitana: 66 runs @ 16.5 Watson: 293 runs @ 73.25 Prince: 185 runs @ 46.25 D Hussey: 174 runs @ 43.5 Lara: 136 runs @ 34.0 De Silva: 49 runs @ 16.33 Adams: 46 runs @ 15.33 Rogers being a shit **** has got to end soon. Btoh trials plus the first two rounds have been fairly lacklustre. I'm also seriously close to dropping Paranavitana in favour of Yuvraj Singh with Watto, Prince and Dussey all moving up a spot.
After round 3: Chris Rogers: 174 runs @ 34.8 with one hundred and zero fifties Paranavitana: 143 runs @ 28.6 with one fifty and zero hundreds. Watson: 321 runs @ 64.2 with two fifties, one hundred, and a lowest score of 28 Prince: 312 runs @ 62.4 with one fifty, one hundred and a lowest score of 27 Hussey: 265 runs @ 53.0 with one fifty and one hundred Lara: 160 runs @ 32.00 with zero fifties and zero hundreds with all scores between 21 and 43 De Silva: 49 runs @ 12.25 Adams: 71 runs @ 23.67 What really shines out is how Watson, Prince and Hussey are really dominating for me. Maybe it's Lara's age but it seems odd that he is consistently making it past 20 but has not reached 50 from five innings. Still, I like the consistency of my middle order. De Silva is a massive concern though, and one where nothing can be done about it.
Bowling stats: Ishant Sharma: 7 wickets @ 49.29 Andre Adams: 8 wickets @ 41.38 Jerome Taylor: 15 wickets @ 25.07 Ajantha Mendis: 23 wickets @ 19.8 Shane Watson: 5 wickets @ 35.0
After Round 4: Batting: Rogers: 228 runs @ 32.6 Paranavitana: 189 runs @ 27.0 Watson: 348 runs @ 49.7 Prince: 338 runs @ 48.3 D Hussey: 398 runs @ 56.9 Lara: 247 runs @ 35.3 De Silva: 99 runs @ 16.5 Adams: 106 runs @ 21.2 My middle order is keeping me alive.
Bowling Stats: Mendis: 25 wickets @ 22.62 Taylor: 18 wickets @ 26.56 Adams: 10 wickets @ 43.00 Sharma: 8 wickets @ 54.38 Watson: 6 wickets @ 40.17
