Adelaide Throws Open Its Arms to the Bulldogs 9/07/2010 3:09:12 PM The city of Adelaide has welcomed the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs with open arms ahead of Saturday’s vital round 18 NRL clash against the Melbourne Storm at the Adelaide Oval. The Bulldogs arrived into town lunchtime on Thursday and wasted no time getting to know the locals. Players Andrew Ryan, Brett Kimmorley, Luke Patten and BenBarba were joined by head coach Kevin Moore and CEO Todd Greenberg in visiting the home base of AFL club Port Adelaide FC, meeting now-outgoing coach Mark Williams and players Daniel Motlop, Alipate Carlile and Jackson Trengove. The players took turns at kicking the Steeden and the Sherrin on Alberton Oval, while the touring party also inspected the Power’s facilities with a view to gaining insights that might benefit the Bulldogs Belmore Oval redevelopment. At the same time, the remainder of the playing group headed for the Adelaide Parklands where nearly 200 local Rugby League juniors turned out for a coaching clinic and signing session. Ryan and Moore then represented the team at Thursday night’s official welcome dinner, held by the South Australian Cricket Association across the Torrens River from the Adelaide Oval. Naawwwwww
Storm's four State-of-Origin representatives are set to play after training well last night at Adelaide Oval. **** yeah
I lol'd how they did that whole press conference with the Port Adelaide coach and Kevin Moore and the next day the Port Adelaide coach quits.
Nah it was just funny hearing that guy talk up port adelaide to Moore, giving him like a 100 tickets to their game tonight and then decides to quit.
Are there any major changes to the line ups? I just noticed Melbourne are at $1.89 to win and thought it might be worth chucking $100 on.
Smith goes onto the bench. Stanley goes to wing for Justin. Bulldogs as named with Dene dropping off the bench.
I'm assuming Smith was on the bench for the GI conversion? Can someone fill me in on Neumann? Haven't heard much about him.
