Is it just me or is the rule where players must stay locked into the scrum for time to be off the most retarded rule ever? And **** Melbourne played shit tonight.
It wasn't pretty but we'll take it, thought our forward pack got pretty stuck in, Hannant, Idris and Tandy all had very good games. Probably the best game Idris has played in some time.
Played for Manly in the under 20's a couple of years ago I think, also played one or two games for the FG team. He's solid though, not a massive weapon on attack but he's quite good on defense.

Yeah, I was super pissed tstl. EDIT: At halftime I thought I would at LEAST get the Game score > 40.5 bet considering I only needed them to put on a combined 17 points in the second half. ****ing bullshit.
I should really stop gambling all together. I hadn't put a bet down in 3 months because of my horrible bad luck and this just serves as a reminder that the gambling gods hate me. When betting on footy I almost always go for the favourites (except when I like Cronulla's odds) the favourite never gets up for me. Sharkies won once when I had them at good odds though.
It was a good night and a good atmosphere. Plenty of Doggies fans there and a lot of Victorians as well which made for a pretty good atmosphere. Billy Slater is awesome, so is GI, was good seeing them play. The new grandstand is coming along nicely too which is fantastic to see. AFL and Football > NRL but it was good to see the NRL back in South Australia. Also, what was the deal with that virtual mascot race at half time? I mean seriously, that has got to be the worst thing I have ever witnessed at a sporting ground. I bet the dog wins every home game as well. Not to mention the barking dogs over the PA when the Storm came out, how embarrassing. But again, it was a good night.
