Season's over now so the Academy eligibility rolls over as well.. some of those wouldn't be eligible.

    Is PC one day tourney?

  3. Cribbage RG Cribb

    Nah.

  4. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Wait... I though the PC was classed as season 8?

  5. Cribbage RG Cribb

Yeah, but the Academy eligibility is based on Bannerman Shield debuts, so it works on when the BS finishes.

  6. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Ohright OK. Well it would only be Fung Hunt and Herd who missed out?

CBF figuring it out ATM. Academy rules actually tend to depend on my mood at the time; the first Academy series was more relaxed on the timeline but ALC cricket counted. Will just depend on what I feel like making it, but I seriously think Herd and Hunt are beyond Academy stage by now.

I would deffinantly be in the acadamy side. Iv been gun all season maybe a little bit of a wobbly start

Yeh I'd agree, but people like Welker and Masters could be very good replacements.

    Or is Masters a NZer?

Either way it is still a good enough side to play against NZ.

Welker wasn't even eligible for NSW Academy mid-season; he played BS before even Hunt and Herd.

  11. Luffers JRE Luffman

1 match right at the end of season 6 rules him out, what a bitch.

  12. Cribbage RG Cribb

Yeah, he'd only played one ALC game too, and he wasn't awesome in it. Saders had an injury and their ALC was full of inactives and had been going dire or something and Welker had shown promise as an active member when he joined, so in he went.

Anyway, still think an academy type side should play NZ and GB should get a position in the PC. :p

We have beaten Vic convincingly, we have a top 3 batsman and top 5 bowler. Colesy is 16th, Whicker is right up there (12th I think).

The only real weakness is a spinner.

43W at 27.5. In ALC but shhh
    M Deane = M Norf IMO

  15. Luffers JRE Luffman

Alos you could just let a PC second XI play them.

  16. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Ok Jamie. If you say so.

  17. McGrath JE McGrath

    Meh. Would i play pc?

  18. Baxter MJ Deane

Jamie in ODers, Norf in FC.

  19. Luffers JRE Luffman

    At the moment, yes.

    Short
    Graham
    Laing
    Smith
    Farnsworth
    Whicker
    Blunder

That's what Luffers has in mind at a guess.
