True, I watched a movie where Bruce Willis ends up being a ghost the whole time at the end, can't remember what it was called but it was good.

  3. Riddy JH Ridd

    The Sixth Sense?

    I don't think that's it.

It also had Kevin Spacey be Kayser Soze the whole time too.

    Pulp Fiction.

Was that the one where the planet full of apes was on future Earth the whole time too?

  8. AVA T Delonge

Yeah, and one of the apes was the dudes father the whole time.

  9. Athlai JJD Heads

Turns out they were brother and sister the whole time too. Awkward.

I think you're thinking of the movie where this guy's on a planet full of apes and it turns out that he's actually on Earth, but the plot twist is that he's actually E.T. and he phones home, but instead of a spaceship turning up to get him, Michael J. Fox shows up from the past in a Delorean and they go to the future. But in reality they went back to the past, which is really just all a dream.

Saw Catching Fire. Really liked it, was really similar to how I imagined it in the books.

Haha this is such a rare thing to hear someone say about a movie.

This is the end - Funny but not as good as everyone made it out to be. Love Danny McBride though. That scene where he was arguing with James Franco about cumming in his magazine was gold.

    Monsters University - Boss movie.

Yeah, that's why I really liked the movie. It was really cool that it was similar, haven't really had that before haha.

Catching Fire. My god what a piece of shit. I'm sorry and I know I said this after the first one as well but if you're going to structure a movie around free for all death matches, it either needs to be way less violent to the point of becoming a PG rated flick. Or, much more realistically, it needs to be a hell of a lot more violent. It's so mild even for an M rating. The middle ground, which is obviously designed to cast as wide a net as possible (the young teens as well as adults), just makes it totally unbelievable. It's so far removed from what a real battle royale would be like especially amongst, as is the case in the first movie, emaciated and desperate people. I've seen better punishment dealt out in Bum Fights with two hobos fighting over a dollar bill. Don't get me wrong, I don't really like the hyper-violent trend in modern movie making but if you're going to use this sort of premise, you have to be somewhat realistic.

The other depressing thing was the dreadful overacting by Lawrence, of whom I am a great admirer. It was hard to watch at times. Really ordinary.

On that train of logic, Star Wars failes to capture the violence of... a war. Or basically any film that deals with a concept that incoporates violence but is still family friendly and an enjoyable blockbuster romp.

This isn't Battle Royale, it's teenage blockbuster.

Presumably it's A teenage blockbuster ftr.
