Yeah, I had to force myself to get through it. Opposite to the first three where I had to force myself to stop reading.
Yeah, pretty much. The Cersei chapters are just so painful...Please tell me it's just a setup novel and that ADWD is super gun? Kind of like what ACOK was to ASOS...
Nah, I liked ACOK. Just because it was a bit of a setup for A Storm of Swords doesn't mean it was bad. Kept me interested throughout even if it was a little lacking on the action. Hmmm. Well I suppose I can't bail out now but it's taking me long enough to get through this one...which means weeks instead of a week. Can't stomach another.
I didn't mind DwD because it kinda continued on with the storyline, the 4th one didn't really at all.
GAGF, Jaime is an absolute gun in FfC. For me DwD is slightly worse than FfC because there is so much fucking around with Dany. (who is the most boring cunt in history, oh I have dragons and an army plus a few hundred thousand slaves willing to die for me. I'll just stay in this one city while every other city state brings every force they have to trap me.) It's made even worse because Tyrion ends up in the same place and he does fucking nothing there either.
How good would it have been if Dany never stopped at the city and instead went straight into Dothraki land.
Jamie is the only good thing about FfC, even Arya turned to shit. Dany was gun in the first few books, but yeah she's fucking annoying now.
yeah i didnt like where they went with dany and tyrion as well was a chore reading their chapters by the end
Don't you dare talk about Arya like that. Dany has always been near the bottom of the list for me...along with Sansa.
Dany & Arya were my 2 favourites in GoT. /Cribb Both have slid right down now. Still above Cersei, Sansa & Brienne though.
Sansa's chapters are actually interesting to me. Simply because they give a much better idea about Littlefinger and his motives. Although that only started very lste in SoS. Before then she was by far the worst.
