Choosing based on whether you can get a spot or not is dire, no matter what you say about "allegiance". You obviously made a choice based on your chances.

Well, it's not like Norths vs Souffs actually means anything, it's a completely random collection of players who really don't have anything to do with each other. I'd definitely go for the team I'd have the most chance of playing for here if I had a choice, but it'll probably still be Norths, since Souffs have about 80% of the players.
Can we set up an Easts and Wests? I feel I would have more opportunities with one of those as a batsman is apparently in my way of Souff honours.
Doubt I'd play south ahead of Speirz and Cribb tbf. Ah well though - Ireland's my #1 choice so tis where I should be IMO
You would atm. I don't really justify my presence on batting alone; last season I played as the fourth bowler and just happened to open because all our best non-Speirs batsmen were middle order players. Fung batted eight. And Speirs is in ALC. Realistically the South openers at the moment are looking like me and one of Armstrong/Petrucci, and our ranks hover around the 30 mark.
