Fair enough if he had a head start. Our backs proving their critics wrong which is good to see.

    I blame Bakkum.

  3. Eggman DA Eggman

Whoops. Pasted the wrong commentary there.

    52:00:

    Golding with the restart.

Taken by Loughman, but he's fumbled it. That's a knock on. Scrum to the Sharks.

Good scrum. The ball comes out cleanly. Interesting tactics here from the Sharks. They spin a long pass back to Logan who takes a punt downtown. Glad to be in Spartans territory.

Line out on the Spartans 22m line to the Spartans.

Woeful throw there, Dexter Astele jumps up to steal. Astele turns, gives the ball to Bakkum who passes to Graham

Graham to Golding. Bodies all around him, he’s not going to make it through there. Morris comes up on his shoulder. Golding with a good pass. A hint of forward there, but no call from the touch judge. Morris slams into the defensive line. Good choice, he’s gone for Schaw and he’s slammed him to the ground. Morris through the line here, but he’s going to easily be run down. Passes to Logan, just 5m short of the line.

Logan tackled by Eggman. Spartans attempt a turnover with Davis following in, but Welker, Astele and Dafter secure the ball. Determination there from the Sharks.

The ball comes out to Morris. Attempts to barge over the line from close in. He’s over the line, but I don’t think that’s grounded! It’ll go to the TMO.

No, held up. 5m Scrum to the Sharks. Poor scrum. The Spartans have won this scrum. Cribb passes away to Blunder who boots it downfield.

60:00 MANY SUBS MAKE HEEF ANGRY

And now the subs roll. Storer on for Ritchie. Flack on for Cribb. Downes on for Laing. Farhat on for Schaw. Alessi on for Loughman. Heads on for Tait.
Masters on for Welker. Hughes on for Bakkum.

FFS. It's gonna take an age to get the stats right after this game.

Haha blunder with the tactical kicking? Luffman shit with the boot very realistic :p

  15. Eds E Ames

Sharks semi-comeback now that Luffman is off, IMO.

Finally I am on to make my debut.

Yates with the ball on the Spartans 22. Tackled by Scott Flack and the forwards pile in. Yates penalised for not releasing the ball there. Penalty to the Spartans. Alessi kicks downfield, but he hasn’t found touch. Logan runs down from the 10m line and hits the Spartans defensive line on their 22. Logan to Golding, who offloads to McDougal. McDougal puts his head down and aims for the line.

    Subbing me off ftl.

McDougal with the big fend on Chung. He doesn’t knock him down, but keeps him away just in time to get away from him.

McDougal tackled as he crosses the try line by Charlie Downes. The ball is down, but we’re going to the TMO. I reckon he’s dropped the ball in the tackle there.

Well, what do I know. It’s been given. Looking at the replay, I wouldn’t have given it myself. Converted by Golding

    Spartans 24 – 7 Sharks
