What sides are you writing off?

    * GWS - still a fair away from becoming a really good side.
    * Gold Coast - ditto.
    * Melbourne - are shot ducks. Something needs to change fast to stop them turning into the Carlton of this decade.
    * Brisbane Lions - I thought they would be good due to their youngsters and the NAB Cup, but they've been pretty fucking awful.
    * Western Bulldogs - see GWS and Gold Coast.
    * St Kilda - they're old, their forward pack relies on Riewoldt and fast young small forwards, and they lack a key defender. Are fading fast.

    Add your own.

Port will not make finals. Reckon they have made the most of a friendly draw so far and despite being improved I still don't see them making finals this year.

  3. Cribbage RG Cribb

    Woakes. :(

  4. Skippos SM Morgan

Tend to agree. Really like their side ATM but it's really not there yet.

    * GWS - Too many young players
    * Gold Coast - Too many young players, seriously lack depth
    * Melbourne - Badcoaching + bad list + bad recruiting
    * Brisbane Lions - Surprised me, just lacking intenisty. Forward line of Martin and Brown is a worry too.
    * Western Bulldogs - No forward line, not enough skill.
    * St Kilda - All good players are old, not enough good young players.
*Essendon - Good side but are going to get the spoon this year

I'll write the Eagles top 4 hopes off too.

Possible when half their team is banned by ASADA.

I wasn't being sarcastic, I genuinely agree with Theo. They are fucked

    GWS
    Gold Coast
    Melbourne
    Bulldogs
    St Kilda

    All for reasons mentioned above.

More likely to lose points then have players banned. Players had no idea what was going on, club knew the whole time. I'd expect them to lose all point for this season and have 2012 stricken from the records. Plus a massive fine.

Demetriou is a sneaky kunt and will do whatever it takes to avoid players getting banned. Which is fair enough.

  11. PaulFromOz PF Oz

    Of course they'll be banned.

Nah there's some loophole about how if athletes are unknowingly doped there can be lesser punishments handed out.

  13. morgieb MC Burridge

Club should be sued for negligence.

  14. Storer BA Storer

    - tigers won't make finals. Don't have what it takes.
    - Adelaide; nope
    - Carlton
    - st Kilda
    -

Actually, looks like most of the Essendon list will likely cop bans.

yeah that's what whateley - who seems to know his shit on these procedural/doping matters - was saying. but apparently it's only six?

only if there was no reasonable way for them to find out. i think that being told that "oh yeah this substance is legal" when it isn't, and then having the opportunity to find out yourself that it's banned and failing to do so - that's not covered, apparently.

Yeah after seeing AFL 360 I'm gonn assume they're right.

And six months is what keeps getting thrown around. But wouldn't most/all of that be off-season?

  18. Mousey AJ Son

Yeah, I think that'll end up happening and they'll all train together anyway and it'll be almost like no punishment at all. Will be ridiculous, people will cry in the media for 2 days then get over it because a punishment has been handed down, no matter how stupid it is. It looks like something was done and apparently that's enough.

Voss will get the ass before seasons end

I'm fine with it, as long as they also lose points.

AFL would need to allow then to draft state league players though to stop them forfeiting
