Haha. You implied if something is illegal then it's immoral. Hahahahaha.......

  2. Fiery GR Smith

    :fp: No I didn't

  3. Fiery GR Smith

You stated that there is no correlation

  4. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Speirz said that just because something is illegal doesn't mean that it's immoral. You called that rubbish.

  5. Fiery GR Smith

Yeah, I believe if you break the law you are being immoral. So do the people who make the laws obviously. I'm no angel but would accept that if I was selling drugs I would be doing something illegal...and HIGHLY immoral.

  6. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Well, now that you've actually admitted to making the statement let me address the absurd content.

If breaking the law convicts one of immorality then how do you account for the plethora of incongruities between the different laws not just in a country from region to region, but across the entire world? Since when is morality based on geography? What makes the same act moral in one part of the world and immoral in another?

Morality is defined as the principles concerning the distinctions between right and wrong. So are you seriously telling me that if the state passed a law requiring all citizens to possess and carry guns, that those who refused, would be immoral? Are you seriously telling me that you think all homosexuals who engage in sexual relations in countries with disgustingly bigoted and homophobic laws are being immoral? Are you seriously telling me that people who don't vote in countries such as Australia, where it is mandatory, are immoral?

I wouldn't trust anybody who thinks the state and legal system are the supreme moral authorities.

Just hurry up and get those eyebrows off

  8. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Why are you so intellectually dishonest?

In legal studies we looked at how somewhere in Africa (think it was nigeria) it's illegal to put bubblegum on the tip of your nose and in some states in the US it's illegal to have a puddle on your property more than 15cm in depth.

Would you say someone breaking these is immoral fiery?

  10. Lukic L Popovic

I'd root MF before your wife fiery. just saying.

  11. Fiery GR Smith

He would be much more willing too

  12. Fiery GR Smith

Of course. You can't go round with bubblegum on your nose. It will lose its flavour! :p

There's a strong case that breaking the law is immoral. Many believe engaging in illegal activities shows a lack of moral ideals - that is that 1) you are above the rules or 2) only feeble minded people obey rules (don't break laws). Every country has a set of laws that other countries break - so in some countries you would not be immoral, of course. I'm using the drug example here because MF believes his drug peddling is not immoral at all. Taking drugs or using drugs in order to change or disable your critical senses is self-indulgent and causes mental relapses of common sense. If you are loaded and drive a car for example, you are a danger to yourself and others...and by ignoring your responsibility you have allowed yourself to be criminally responsible for any deaths or harm caused by your decision to get high. Selling drugs to others to do the same, which also ruins people's health and even wrecks their lives and those of their families is worse of course. Your irresponsible actions, which are not only immoral, have become criminal.

Don't get me wrong, I have indulged myself quite often and readily in the past and will probably snort a rail or toke on a joint in the right environment but I don't get on my high horse and claim that what I'm doing is moral.

You promised to everyone on the forum you would shave your eyebrows off if the Warriors beat the Storm. Why did you then renege on this and make yourself look like a twat? Why are you so "dishonest"? Why are you so weak? Why? Why?

  14. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

    Who are these people?

Why is it immoral to show that you're above the rules by disobeying an unjust law? God you speak shit. You didn't answer any of my questions. Do you think it's immoral to disobey a law which says you must kill your daughter for dishonouring her family in a country where it's the law?

You don't have a moral high horse on which to climb because you have NFI what morality is. I've never read such nonsense. You're being so ridiculously disingenuous again it's just sickening.

Firstly, who are you to tell people they're not allowed or that it's immoral to put something into their own bodies? As long as they don't hurt anyone else, it's their business. This is true even of much harder drugs like heroin and coke.

Secondly, what is this shit about driving a car whilst high? Of course that's immoral (because you're endangering people and property) but it's no different than if you drink and drive - It's not Liquorland's responsibility. That's your choice. You saying "selling drugs to others to do the same (drive while high)" - Who the fuck sells drugs to people so that they can get high and drive? I have never done anything of the sort. If anyone has purchased my product and chosen to do something stupid like that, that is entirely their own choice and responsibility.

I honestly cannot tell if you're trolling or not, any more. The fucking garbage that comes out of your mouth.....

You are so bad it this, old man.

  18. Fiery GR Smith

So bad at what? Arguing relentless on an internet forum even when you know you are wrong? You're the expert. Teach me!

I didn't respond properly to your last post because I'm still chuckling about how fired up you get when you lose an argument. The sentences you write like "You're being so ridiculously disingenuous again it's just sickening" are laugh out loud funny. It's a classic trait of a pseudo-intellectual/cut nerd/cornering rat to lash out like this...all red-faced and steamy. You've can't control yourself and have to start telling people they are "talking shit or "speaking garbage", or that they are "old", "ugly", "arseclowns" etc etc ad neuseum.

I am not going to argue the morality with you about your drug dealing because we are never going to agree on that. You can continue to sit in your little drug den and tap away on your computer thinking you are superior in intellect to everyone else. Really you're just a cretinous geek with no friends, morals or personality.

    No offence.

Once again, you completely avoid responding to any of the arguments, obviously because you can't, and then accuse me of using ad hominems because I'm cut. Did I respond to the content? Yes. Did you? No.

If my invectives are a sign of pseudo-intellectualism, what does the line in bold say about you? You are one of the most hypocritical and illogical personalities I've encountered online. Also, after this discussion, I've realised you're also a lot less bright than I thought.

    We shan't speak again...

    "We shant speak again"

    I'm so gutted
