Yeah, AB ruined every SA keeper's hopes and dreams.

Yeah, it has Athers. I mean even before that though. While Boucher was still playing, Kuhn was seen as his replacement. By the time Boucher actually retired, he had just become one of a list of possible replacements. Probably the favourite, but only just.

Then AB did his thing and only de Kock (because of potential) and Tsolekile (because he's black) have any chance now. But even before AB cemented himself, it wasn't clear-cut "AB or Kuhn" whereas it had seemed pretty probable before.

Probably more due to a few other keepers putting their hand up than anything, but Kuhn isn't an obvious choice any more.

I don't really know what Justin Kemp is. Averages 27 & 23 over since 10/11, of course, but that's less than a wicket an innings, which is just awful. Not good enough with the bat to go higher than 8, and not good enough with the ball to bowl before 5.

EDIT: Well, this has already been said elsewhere.

Kemp is a batting allrounder who bats poorly but bowls well.

    Domestic Watson. :p

*Mennie just took 5/74 in the NSW/ SA U23 match not included.
He solves my problem of not having enough #8 batsmen

    New team name IMO.

Do under 23 matches count as fc?
