It's hard to believe anyone could still advocate Bird as the Titans or NSW 5/8th. The fact that he played there for Australia is just outrageous. Dreadful ball player and had one of the worst kicking games you'll ever see. And it's not as if this is a recent phenomenon. Even back when Fulton was calling him NSW's Wally Lewis, he was a shitty stand off.
