Yeah, the whinging about the lack of arguing is a genuine whinge. The shit about arguing is how he argues though.. he's in his element when he's doing that.

 

Yeah, that's how it's worked on pretty much every forum I've been on, TBH. I've always thought CricSim was a bit different though - or at least I've always hoped for it to be. Unlike most forum owners, I actually contribute to social discussion here just like any other pleb member; I don't just read all the posts to moderate the place. If it ever got to a stage where I only came here to make sure everything was running smoothly, I'd honestly just stop coming. That's actually happened a few times, albeit for just a couple of days at a time.

 

This is actually an excellent point.

We've all come to love Tyson's ability to rip people new arseholes, so with Prodigy gone, we can't really afford to lose Hunter or Zakaron. Integral parts of the forum fabric now for that reason.

 

I won't deny that some people have pretended to be more interested in certain topics than they actually are at times, and that frankly pisses me off, but I do think there was more political interest among the members than what was initially evident TBH. I know Manero and Flash (lol, it's true) in particular were interested well and truly before it became "popular" as such on this forum to be so; they just never bothered posting about here because.. well, this is CricSim FFS.
