Haha yeah; it is becoming a bit of a trend. Morris, Son and Funkotron (okay, cheating) have all walked into the presidency as recruits from other clubs in the last couple of seasons, while Cambridge was all set to leave the Rays before he got offered the presidency there. On top of that, a lot of the presidents are underachievers to an extent - Son (who will start in ALC) and Read are two of the biggest underachievers in CricSim history while Ritchie and Cambridge have done nothing at BS level yet and are just coming up from ALC themselves.
You weren't really signed as president though; you signed and then got given presidency, which is a bit different. Probably counts more than Alec though.
Way to push a technicality there. And tbh, Alec was signed, and then pushed into pres as well, rather then being signed as pres.
