Any big fans on here. I'd never watched it before and then a good mate of mine said I should give it a crack. I've burned through 2 and 1/2 seasons in a fortnight or so. Enjoying it.
Julian, It's the third best TV show I've watched after Seinfeld and The Wire. I've not seen as good and realistic display of shades of human emotion in any other show. Livia and Janice are prime examples of this. Plus it's amazing bang-for-buck entertainment too, for the most part. It has a few meh episodes across the seasons but they are still better than the vast majority of TV and the Sopranos peaks like no other TV show, the beginning the whole of season 3 is just another level. I was watching Proshai, Livushka (the ep with Livia's funeral) today while having lunch coincidentally.
Such a good show. Beautifully shot as well, if you can grab it on Bluray do that. They did the Breaking Bad bullshit with the last season and split it over two years, so I lost interest and never ended up watching the second half of the last season haha.
