In fact, Gallen went off in the 31st minute and didn't come back on until the 62nd. He'd made 7 runs for 54m, 11 tackles 0 misses and 0 ineffective, 2 penalties and 1 offload. By the time Gallen got back on the field it was 28-0 nil and in the set he came back on, QLD scored to make it 34-0. So yeah Gallen's stats are really relevant aren't they? He goes from 50 odd to 112m, 1 offload to 4 and 11 tackles to 19 in the last 15 minutes when the game is over at 34-0. And apparently that's one's basis for saying Gallen played well. Haha. FMD. Ah but see giving away 2 of the first 3 or 4 penalties that put QLD in range (which we scored one try off) means nothing right? I mean giving away that second penalty in the set after the Blues had finally got a few sets on QLD's line and were hemming them into their own half for a change, doesn't mean anything right? You actually are the so called "dropkick". I have mentioned my backline twice in this thread and it compares nothing to that except for the number 3 jersey. Purtell can't defend for shit let alone score tries... not what I am after. Tighe is no where near Origin and I wouldn't want him there either. Coote is too small. Gordon should be close and I think he would of done a better job than Monaghan last night. In saying that though I still don't think he should play Origin. For the last time my NSW backline for Game 3 and hopefully the 2011 series: 1. Dugan 2. Hayne 3. Jennings 4. Lyon 5. Morris That is a pretty good backline to me and are all able to score points and can also defend good enough. All I am saying is that having so called "super defensive" centres to stop the likes of Lockyer, Inglis and Folau isn't going to work. We need to go back to "score more points than they do" saying. Bellamy is too focussed on defence and while this will work down the middle it ain't going to work everywhere else because we have useless hacks like Cooper and Scott who aren't going to score when they are given opportunities. You could argue that most forwards had similar stats that were inflated by their second stint ffs.
