There's not really anti-Jedi tech in the movies, there is something that I think could do the job but it's from the books. The SW-related explanation I'd give is that force users can create illusions. Eds could have given someone the role to distribute misinformation from him under this guise. I've no other explanation. As far as being a lyncher goes I've no issue whatsoever with anyone else killing him overnight. I don't think there's any particular rivalries in SW that would facilitate a specific lyncher role anyway.
From my hunch, yeah. Unless there's some way that the actual cop role or whatever had their PM directed to me. I don't think there's any way for me to just suddenly stumble across this information without it being tampered with by the mafia.
Shit, obi is one of the few star wars dudes I'd heard of! Smelly seems to have extra information by expecting the dark maul to have died? I didn't see that name anywhere in the write up... (Unless there is a star warsy explanation for expecting that).
Nothing rules it out, but I don't trust this info at all. Anyone got any ideas of a mafia role that can send system messages to someone else?
That's what I'm wondering. If it did that there'd be someone else with no information though. He confirmed with me he didn't.
That question can lead to a misleading answer. Just because people aren't familiar with a role that can do something, it doesn't mean that role cannot be made up and included in a particular game. This is not Epicmafia where the list of roles are hardcoded in and we can check them off a list.
Yeah, I know. A negative doesn't mean the role doesn't exist, but I was hoping for a positive from someone so we'd at least have some idea what to look out for. If this same message had been sent to a cop then we'd be definitely lynching Baxter.
At this stage we don't even know if Speirz is even Town. Could be a mafia bluff. Marcuss is obviously going to claim he's not a killer though.
Personally, I feel we should lynch Baxter anyway. Unless further information comes in, a lynch on him would be best for us, as we'd either take out a mafia or get confirmation about something else at play.
It's a massive and creative bluff on my behalf if it is, and all it would do is get one townie or third-party lynched. Not really worth the effort, and I wouldn't be so hesitant to find out more and give reasons why it might be a trick.
