Underwhelming lineup IMO. There are only about 3 things I'd really want to see and they wouldn't even be main stage.
If I went I'd just get off my cunt and cruise around, but making sure I catch First Aid Kit, Asgeir and Grouplove.
2 Door, London Grammar, CHVRCHES, Jezebels, Art vs Science, Wave Racer and probably RUFUS would be right up there for me. While music is so subjective, I reckon that is a gun line-up. Missing a big-name headliner though. EDIT: Add Grouplove & Spiderbait to that list.
Outkast Two Door Cinema Club Lily Allen Foster The People Angus & Julia Stone City And Colour London Grammar Vance Joy Darkside RÜFÜS Ben Howard Kelis Metronomy Chvrches Grouplove The Jezabels Tune-Yards Danny Brown Illy First Aid Kit Ásgeir The 1975 Ball Park Music Buraka Som Sistema The Preatures Parquet Courts Sticky Fingers Peking Duk Future Islands Courtney Barnett Phantogram Jungle Wave Racer Ry-X Broods Dustin Tebbutt The Kite String Tangle The Head And The Heart All at least decent or better.
Would go to see Outkast, Interpol, Metronomy, Parquet Courts and some others. Australia gets the rawest deal in terms of ticket prices to line-ups though.
unless it has changed it's normally going to set you back $600 aud plus just to get a ticket and camp for 3/4 nights. Then you factor in that it's halfway between Brisbane and Sydney so it's going to cost a couple hundred transport wise and you've spent $800 (bit under £400) and you haven't factored in dosh for drugs, alcohol and food.
Decent lineup without a huge headliner (fuck Lilly Allen). Friends already talking about going down, yet to decide whether I want to spend on it.
