I can't remember the last time we dominated so convincingly. Certainly hasn't happened in the last 10 years.
I was critical of Pearce's kicking but he was still likely to kick much better than what we've got out there now. Not that it matters anymore.
Yeh it's not a very exciting kicking game but it's fucking effective; it boxes the opposition in, the hang time means you generally get the play the ball worst case on the 20m line, best case 10m line and you take Corey Oates out of taking the first hit up which is where he's at his best. Maloney just doesn't have the same kind of depth or hang time on his kicks, was something we always struggled with when Pearce was out for the Roosters. Not that it will likely matter now, I can't remember the last time we had to kick from inside our own half.
Mate I'd take fucking Klemmer being our playmaker and goal kicker of it meant Pearce not being there.
