It's perfectly fine to use it in the way Skippos did in his post IMO. Literally, it is catching. It's like when people say cricket is a "see the ball, hit the ball game". If Kallis played a beautiful cover drive and the commentator said it was a good hit it'd sound juvenile as hell but when describing the fundamentals of the sport, it's fine. Same with your AFL coms being dicks for calling marks catches but Skippos being fine to say it there.
I first starting watching BB when the Pistons played well, but then i lost interest and didn't follow it for 5 years. Now this sim has gotten me right back into BB and i've been watching alot more lately even though my Lakers got butt fucked by the Spurs!
This is no doubt the best Sim ever. Basketball is just awesome that's why, and the stats produced are so good to gauge on.
I love it because I love basketball.It helps that it is an American sport so it has a good engine to sim it through.
