Hughesy did a really good job across all OD cricket with the ball last season but he's averaging 100 and going at 7rpo this season so that'll be one thing you have to think about.

Rask going from a Horrigan Plate shunter to a Horrigan Cup star should be a help for you guys, but on the other hand Tart will be ineligible because he'll be busy playing for the Celts so that's a bit of a bummer.

Make sure you have a read of the competition info thing about the Second XI teams this season too. If you get new NSW Country signups who stay active you should be playing them basically; so that means Anraad and Gloury are musts. Blokes who have been around a while should only be in the Second XI side if they're really close to the First XI side or you've got no-one else anyway. It'll also be worth considering players like Pimpkins and Roberts now that you don't need contracts, providing you don't have enough rookies to fill the holes (and you don't ).

Haha yeah poor Mousey will be forever cruelled by Cribb+Flack h4x. He'll need to make on the strength of his batting alone really. Frontrunner for a South OD spot though I'd say.

Yeah, basically the idea should be this:

Step 1: Pick anyone really close to the 1's who you want to have a look at.
Step 2: Pick anyone active rookies who could do with the development boost.
Step 3: Fill the remaining holes with the best players available, whether they're active/contracted or not.
