Here's a photo of mine of a line out from a King Country vs. Thames Valley game in Te Kuiti a couple of years back.



In this instance, the Thames Valley (in Gold) #6 has taken his own ball at the line out from a feed by their own Hooker. To steal, the King Country opposite number would effectively have to jump higher or slightly earlier - reach over, and grab the ball.
