    Flow of play? You've got to be fucking joking. It's the most stop-start football game short of NFL. The amount of time that the ball and players are in actual motion and not just laying on the ground is a tenth of what it is in League.

    Field position is more important to a certain point. After that, penalties mean far more. Which is why the Wallabies have had more time in NZ's 22m and are still getting flogged.

    Union is more pure. It's physical, technical, showing off man's strength. I like a more brute game, not a 'softer' game (league is softer - not saying that negatively either, it's what makes it different and does improve the game in some facets - it just doesn't appeal to me)

    The flow of play is much, much smoother than League. That is my point. In an avg game of League both teams combined will have atleast up to 10-15 errors. Yeah in Union once your tackled it is more slowed down then the normal play the ball in League. However, that is just part of the game. And mind you once a player gets slapped in the face in League from a tackle that bloke that got slapped would just lay on the ground for 10mins bludging for a penalty.

    You're right, because a penalty goal is worth 3 points. It's how the game is. 3 points is worth sooooooooooo much more than 2 points in League. For example, if team A kicks 3 penalty goals in League they get 6. Team B only has to score a converted try to become equal again. Now in Union if team A kicks 3 penalty goals it becomes 9. Team B in Union would then need 3 penalty goals to become equal (obv) If they score a converted try they're still gonna be down by 2 points. They still need another scoring play to overtake Team A who only had kicked 3 penatly goals.... It's genuis.

    Should just ban him from the rugby sub forum IMO.

    Personally never really seen his posts (don't look at the league threads much) but he certainly needs to get laid.
