Yeah, Parker's offloading has been excellent.

  2. Magic AJ Parker

Sounds like Cowboys copped a hard time from the ref?

    How was Greenshields?

  3. Wilson SB Wilson

Greenshields was okay. He was pretty safe for the most part but didn't in anyway provide that something extra Bowen does. He'll probably be able to showcase his skills a lot more with an extended run as he was visibly fatigued at the end of the game, something that which the Cowboys, could and should have won the game off.

I watched it without sound so I missed out on hearing why certain penalties were blown etc, but it seemed pretty even I thought.

Seriously, how often are we going to avoid giving Hodges the ball. We attacked left all night, when the Cowboys weak link is their left. Shithouse tactics.

  6. Alec AD Funkotron

Left side attack just works better at the moment. Prince is playing worse than anyone else in the side, Norman can't pass right, Hodges never passes, Maranta lacks speed.

Not giving the ball to Hodges seemed to work well. Maranta in the corner:p

  8. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Maranta doesn't need speed outside Hodges.

Hoffman has been adding strike power we haven't had since like Folau on the wing. Even Yow Yeh wasn't as deadly IMO. I know he isn't happy playing on the wing, but he's orsm there.

He isn't doing anything he wasn't at fullback before the injuries. He's now doing it on the wing. It's just hard running. He looks to have gotten back to full pace and is not afraid of contact at all. Which is why he should be playing fullback and Norman should be eating a bag of dicks. Hoffman, Hunt and Bond are the long term options, and none of them are being utilised. Are we trying to win a comp here or are we just trying to place the highest we can each year? If it's the latter then by all means keep playing Prince and Norman.

Hey, I'm all for dropping Prince. Norman too. If it was up to me, I'd have

    1. Bond
    2. Hoffman

    6. Hunt
    7. Lollace

    this year.

Finally people realizing Wal is one of our best halves.

  13. Alec AD Funkotron

That's like being the best of a retard class. Wallace has easily been better than Prince, but I still want to get rid of him for someone better at the earliest opportunity.

Maranta doesn't lack speed he lacks size, put him on a 100m track and he would be gun but as soon as he gets the slightest bit of contact he doesn't know what to do and fucks up.

Yeah.....let's take out the ball playing fullback who is one of the reasons why Brisbane's back line has become very lethal and replace him with the small guy who can run hard and straight

or the other smaller guy who's just breaking out of the QLD cup.

    Win the comp??

    Yay!!

So I assume you're in favour of Greenshields and not Bowen for the Cowboys, given Mango is so much smaller? What a ridiculous argument.

We were a better side with Hoffman at the back before he got injured. He is our long term fullback and Hunt is our long term half. What is the point of playing Norman and Prince? We're not a genuine threat to the comp so we're just wasting time. Norman is going at the end of the year is Prince is so far over the hill it's laughable.

    What crap!!

We were winning games on the back of our defence early last year. Our attack and particularly Hoffman had very little to do with it. In fact our attack was almost non-existent......which is something that can't be said at the moment with Norman and Prince in the side.

    Not a genuine threat ...?

    Yeah. OK

What? I'm talking about his two significant leg injuries in 2011. He hasn't been that same player since until the first 6 games of this season. Last year he was timid and very hesitant. He's now back to his best.

And no, we're not a genuine threat. You're kidding about Norman and Prince aren't you? Prince looks like the 5th rate wash-up I said he was when we bought him, and Norman cancels any good he does with inexplicable stupidity as evidenced the other night. First he drops a bomb on his own goal line. Then he bombs a try by not passing to Hoffman. Then he fails to find touch from a penalty. All this in the first half.

I'm disappointed by how much Prince has regressed this year. After starting terribly last year he actually played out the rest of 2012 to a pretty high standard. So far in 2013 his passing game has gone to shit and his long-kicking game has been awful.

  20. Old Mate M Perry

Yeah if that talk of Norman not going to the Eels is true then I guess I'd be happy to keep playing him, otherwise I'd be getting Bond in there. Bring in ze Hunt, kill the prince.
