Yeah .....that was a really shit pass from Prince to Maranta Friday night to set up Brisbane's first try.
Dude, come on. You're better than that. You sound like a Souths fan talking up Adam Reynolds's passing game because of that pass to Everingham against Melbourne.
That was a pretty damn good pass, but one good thing in 475 minutes total of footy isn't very impressive.
I was thinking that too. Prince looked like he was cruising into retirement early in 2012 and then pulled his finger out and played pretty well for the rest of the season. There is the possibility that he is just working off some rust and will get back to playing some good rugby league.
I was suppose to be working and I was pressed for time. IMO Prince is getting hard done by from a lot of RL & Bronco fans. The guy is getting forced to make probably 4 x the amount of tackles then any other 5/8 in the comp. (made something like 28 against the Titans. Yes, missed 4 as well) still.... other teams know he's suspect and are aiming there defence straight at him. TBH....that considered, he's almost holding his own. What Brisbane could do with is maybe getting Glenn instead of Gillett to line up beside him and help him out a little. In attack he is showing his class.....albeit, as Jazz has conceded, blowing off a little rust. The Broncs have been a non-entity attack wise since Lockyer left. I think Prince is entitled to a bit of lee-way from some who were expecting immediate results and thought the 33 yr old was the lastest coming of Jesus. Prince is at least there for this year and maybe one more. If he can fill the void until a quality playmaker can be found then I'm all for it. and before you mention Ben Hunt, Peter Wallace & griffin is what's stopping Ben Hunt....not Scott prince. Hunt spending a lmore time with Prince in the halves would only benefit Hunt's development as a future Brisbane playmaker. He won't learn a damn thing from Wallace.
