They weren't. The refs were blowing the whistle for the sake of it. He was great tonight. But he needs to fix his ball security up once he realises he won't be offloading. All in all I'm very happy with the result, which sounds weird after copping a hiding on the scoreboard like that. We competed with everything other than points. Rivett was terrible though, he needs to learn that he has a winger, he needs to ****ing mark him.
I was very impressed with him. I'm really losing my patience with Norman. The thing that shits me is that he is scared to put his body on the line. He will never be a good NRL player, IMO.
Thought Setu had a half decent game, certainly a better option than Teo atm anyway. Would be crazy to release him given your depth in the backrow.
Setu got a few good offloads and didn't have any brain snaps in defence that I can remember. But Teo has been great out wide.
Setu's best game of the year if not his best game as a Broncos, but Te'o has been good as well, both deserve a spot Norman Winterstein Copley Folau Yow Yeh Lockyer Wallace Kenny McCullough Sims Thaiday Teo Gillett Glenn Anderson Setu Lui is a decent team tbh, we have to give Norman a chance imo, he is very raw but does good things aswell, he isn't going to replace Hunt over night
He just looks kinda tired to me atm. I more than happy giving him a go tho, I don't know how good he'll get, but I definitely prefer him to Hoffman.
the one he dropped cold was ****ing shocking but im pleased he took the next bomb well. i was surprised they didn't bomb to him more though.
I was happy with Dodds' performance last night. He made a solid 34 tackles with none missed and also made 8 runs for 55m. He didn't make a lot of metres but he is at least making them and looked somewhat strong with a few of them. Just not sure he will keep his spot but that performance was easily his best. Played 42 minutes also.
Dragons too ****ing good. Lol @ the Broncos. Lol @ the Video Ref. Lockyer retire already you old ****.
