The very fact that without Robbie Farah, the Tigers wouldn't have been perenial top 8 contenders over the last 4 years, especially in the times when Marshall had lengthy periods on the sidelines and the rest of our team were hacks like Halatau, Payne, Morris etc. Ennis and Smith have always had better teams and better halves around them. If you take either out of their current teams, they still make the top 8. If you take Farah out of the Tigers, they struggle big time. I think Smith is still the top hooker simply for his amazing structual skills and immaculate kicking game + defensive workload, but to compare Farah to Ennis at club level is laughable.
Lawrence has defended in between Benji Marshall and Taniela Tuiaki. He has to make reads and plays on his own, that's not biased. That's just you hating Marshall because of the media fellatio he gets, which still pails in comparison of Hayne's last year. How can proof be considered bias. A bias statement is an irrationally favoured assumption without significant prior knowledge or reasoning to both sides of the argument.
I've never actually seen Ennis play in the Tigers team when they had Marshall out. Care to point me to the facts that state that this occured?
The Eels didn't bomb at Kelly when they versed the Sharks, so he made little errors. Does that make him a great fullback? Just because teams don't run down that side or take advantage of the poor defence, doesn't make him a great defender. Nah, it's me recognising that Marshall isn't the best player in the game. You know, common sense? Your proof is "Farah did more with his team than Ennis did with his team", which is an opinion, not factual at all.
Yet you do that, very very often. The only team they have in common is the NSW team, where Ennis outperformed Farah. Hmmmm.....
Haha, racism has nothing to do with this. Ennis can kick goals for starters, he gets under the other teams skin etc.
He's not the kicker for his team and last time he did, he kicked 0/4 so that isn't a good argument. And he gets under other teams skin, that's not necessarily a good trait. It's a trait that will get penalties awarded against him (as shown through stats) and in time may get his face punched in. He's lucky that it was Sandow in a fight with him last year and not someone like Dane Tilse.
Getting his face punched in earns the team a penalty and potentially a sinbin. Also, getting under the other teams skin can cause them to race out of the line, try and put on the big hit etc. and make mistakes.
The kicking argument is a perfectly valid one, Ennis offers the kicking option where as Farah doesn't - Gives the team more verstailty.
A bit difficult for them to race out of the line when your dummy half. I also don't think it's likely they'll go to race out and hit someone who's done nothing. Except Keef who was stupid and shouldn't have hurt Armit last year.
Farah has kicked goals in the past though and I'm sure he can if need be. We seem to persist with Benji however since he's getting supposed coaching.
The fact that Ennis can kick goals at say 75% and Farah at say 70% shouldn't be a discriminator between the two really. Nonetheless, I'll give you that as a reason. Go on with more.
Got nothing personal against the Tigers or Farah, in fact I quite like Farah. You just do enough wrapping of the team for me, the forum and yourself.
