That's not how it works. Mitchell will be manning up on Edwards - it'll be Edwards's responsibility to be defensively accountable. If he is and Mitchell moves into the middle, no doubt Picken will pick him up. Can't just shake a tag by moving a player off half back into the middle
Inb4 Mousey Kovas's CPL AFL GWS beat the Swans, right? Well CPL AFL thinks these two are considerably closer. Still an upset mind. Forward line too cramped.
CPL MVP: 5 - Jordie McKenzie: Taggers are taggers as they don't know how to accumulate or use the ball. Bartel brought McKenzie into the right spots today 4 - Allen Christensen: Was awesome today 3 - Harry Taylor: Shut down Patton which admittedly isn't tough but offensively was excellent 2 - Dayne Beams: This low because 0 clearances and 6 clangers. Was still good though 1 - Gary Rohan: Doing a first here and naming a sub in the votes. 12 touches, 7 marks and 2 goals in a quarter and a half is immense. Was the spark that brought the Tongues back into it
Yeah, I think I'm semi-culpable anyway. I fixed what I thought was a massive bug in the sim (Full forwards and to a lesser extent CHFs/Other KPFs in the forward line winning 20 ground balls a game when they'd be lucky to win 5 irl) but the flow on effect was that the CHF/FF played more like a proper CHF/FF and not like they did in the past. Essentially made Mousey's forward line which consists of 4, sometimes 5 6'4+ blokes a lot weaker at ground level. Like I'd mentioned doing it but nothing proper as I fix bugs all the time. This one was a pretty big one though so perhaps had I mentioned it people might have avoided naming 4 talls this week which is a tactic that was okay in the pre season-first two rounds (it shouldn't be, anyway. I'm not even sure 4 of the best talls in the AFL would form a better fwd line than replacing 2 of the best ones with 2 ok crumbers)
