Fuck the dogs are putrid. Mbye is worse than Keating. Have they got any halves in reserve grade? Drop Hopoate, Mbye to fullback and an actual half into the halves would help.
All of the Cowboys' tries were from horrible Bulldogs defence. Lowe's first he strolled through. Hess should've been stopped (Williams' attempt was pathetic). Taumalolo's was disgracefully easy. And even Thurston strolling through when every defender in the game knows about his dummy. That is bottom 4 defence not top 4.
The thing with the dogs is that as putrid as they are, they're a bad storm or two away from going deep in the finals with that pack, Refs put their whistles away and you get a much more origin like arm wrestle, which they're well suited too. I haven't liked them all year, but they just keep on keeping on with Des. If Hasler wasn't their coach I am almost positive they'd be a 11th-13th side.
They have Harry Siejka and Matt Frawley. So.. kinda, if they got desperate enough. If anything I think they'd move Reynolds to hooker and drop Lichaa before moving Mbye though.
