They did well. All credit to the Cowboys who almost comeback and I can understand why Thurston was blowing up. Hodkinson, Scott, Ballin and Watts all the stand outs as well as a very impressive opening 25 minutes to Dean Whare who managed to score a hat trick. Didn't see much of him in the second but I think that the loss of Lyon affected this. A gutsy win but a win nonetheless with the 2 points rightfully going to the Sea Eagles.
Cowboys always do that, turn up for 30 minutes and do **** all the rest of the game. Deserved to lose.
If Thurston wasn't twenty times better than any other player on the park in the second half, I'm not here.
Again, Manly nearly lost the game for themselves. The Cowboys should have done more in the first half, but weren't in it.
Cowboys didn't deserve to win. 16 errors is unforgivable. Bowen played like he was scared to run, all night. Graham and Payne are rubbish. Thurston and Watts were excellent in attack and Watts was awesome in defence. Matt Scott was best on ground for mine. Massive effort after SOO - 14 runs for 143 (10.2m per run), 20 tackles and 1 miss, 0 penalties, 0 errors. Epic front rowers knock in a terrible team.
