    I'm going to go with just ignoring the break and pretending no time actual passed. Anything else would've resulted in the season being scrapped in reality (which is possibly what I should have done.. but I just couldn't do it to the Saders).

    I'll say there's a two-year long lockout in protest of the GM's strong libertarian beliefs. Some people have been practicising in forlone hope of competition play returning, others have not.

    Very shit in-universie explaination, but it's at least one.

    A quick look suggests at least half our team no longer posts so I'm surprised to see us favourites. So it's either that the layoff had no effect or we are about to see some Howe+Heef deathlightning murderball

    In fairness your bowling lineup is still posting, and your batting lineup wasn't really active before the hiatus anyway. So I dunno if the hiatus has a huge effect on your lineup.
