    Cyclones: Farhat, Narang, Gonzalez, Masters, Morris, Man, Hurricane, Jacobs, Martyn, Edwards, McDougal.
    Pumas: Bakkum, Harding, Fittaman, Flack, Chewie, Son, Schaw, Dorn, Hunt, Bots, Diggler.

    One of the favourites for the spoon host one of the favourites for the championship, in what is unlikely to be a close encounter. The Bureau of Meteorology is likely to present some interesting challenges for the Pumas, as it's almost the opposite of the Mountains in every way. However, the pitch has been known to deteriorate late in the game so the quartet of Pumas' spinners are still likely to gain some assistance.

    The Cyclones are massive underdogs, despite home advantage, and will need something incredibly special to pull of a win. Arguably the only area in which the Cyclones get close to the Pumas are the quality of the respective opening batsmen. With this in mind, the Cyclones need everyone to overperform. The likes of Ben Jacobs will need to improve on their Care Cup form.

    The key battle will be the Pumas' opening pair of Diggler and Flack vs. Narang and Farhat. With the pressure on the fast-bowlers on the BOM greentop, they're an arguable weakness of the Pumas' strong side. Diggler, despite an excellent Care Cup, is new to Bannerman Shield cricket, and Flack is still the mainstay of the batting lineup.

    It's still unlikely to make a difference, though, and we'll go for an 8 wicket Pumas win with a haul from Diggler.
