There is technically no awards this is just something Morgie did. There was player of the year awards before but it isnt being done anymore.
It is. The Herald is doing it. The reason Cribb isn't is because he lost R1 points when Merk attacked.
But the Herald aren't taking care of Rookie of the Year, and thats what morgie, and a few others, including myself are going to try get happening, basically to cover the past 2 or so seasons.
We're not going to award them retrospectively. Any attempts to do so will be thwarted as there's clearly no context of performances just looking back at old stats.
It's something I always plan to do but never end up actually doing. Muesli actually did win it in Season 6 for example; I just never announced it. I'm already planning a more sophisticated awards structure for Season 9, of which it'll be a part of. Whether it happens for this season is entirely up to whether I can be bothered at the time, though.
Ah ok, that makes sense. Also forum awards going to happen this season/year or that just one of those things if you can be bothered.
