But I don't think that'd be related to how good they were in ODI's. What i'm trying to say is, I don't think Hussey would increase by say, 10 batting points in Tests, and Marsh 5 batting points in Tests if they both retired from ODI's, just because Hussey is a better ODI player. Obviously using arbitrary numbers.
When you think about it though, if someone retired from limited overs cricket and concentratede on being a good Fc player you'd see some increase in ability imo, just not all that much.
But the increase in ability in FC cricket wouldn't be relative to their skills in ODI's, is what i'm trying to say. Not saying there wouldn't be an increase at all.
Can someone use this situation in an example...only person I can think of is Ponting retiring from T20 and becoming shit
But being more active doesn't make people better at one day cricket either. It was suggestion to make it fair and not have people not making their one day sides retiring.
