The Landsharks back line was a bit of a mess. A couple of backs were stuck in the ruck. Stroud was the ball carrier at the tackle. Someone else was the nearest player, and went in too. Conquerors secured quick ball, trouble was on the cards.

20-30 Minutes: Territorial domination from the Conquerors. Stolid defence from the Landsharks. Benny Read putting in some big tackles. Also a try saving last ditch tackle from Karwin Rogers causing Farhat to knock on. Definitely saved 5 points there.

 

30-40 Minutes: Shit, this is a pummelling, but the Conquerors just can't make it through the Landsharks defence. A certain try saved by a handling error from Nick Scott. After 14 consecutive minutes defending, a penalty is eventually conceded as Adam Smith is called offside at the ruck. Conquerors decide to take the 3 points.

Incredible defence, it must be said as the half time whistle blows.
