    Would love to travel to SA, its just seems like such a fascinating place and the wildlife would be just amazing to see, right up close just about within arms length would be a once in a lifetime thing imo.

    It's not true for places like Cape Town generally but you've got to watch yourself at Joburg. Soon as the sun sets the streets become deserted. When even the locals warn you about the crime rate you know it's bad.

    But he's right. It's ridiculous over there - reverse aparteid almost. The blacks can do what they want, there's no law enforcement and the government is corrupt. White people are constantly robbed - and you can see which houses are theirs just by looking - 6 metre walls w/ barbed wire etc.

    Google should help. Honestly didn't feel safe in Joburg. Port Elizabeth was a bit better, Knysna and Cape Town were fine.
